We originally intended to replace our own garden gate, but eventually worked out that we didn’t really need it. The ’threshold’ to entering the garden of our victorian terrace is very clearly delineated by the mere existence of the Bikebox. But that’s not to say there haven't been many discussions and numerous designs on the board about such a thing. And there are practical reasons to have a gate, other than marking out territory - dogs and kids are the more obvious ones.
So, we finally got to make one of the (many) ideas for a gate into reality. It’s our first one. We are pretty happy with it - and, fortunately, so is the client!
